With election day less than one week away, here’s a recap of the candidates for Mayor of San Jose and their appearances in various places and media outlets over the past few weeks. Since the five major candidates have participated in an awe-inspiring quantity of forums, there’s no way we can list them all here. Here are some that caught our interest:

Recent candidate chat sessions hosted by the SJ Mercury News. The Merc also hosts a multimedia video collection of interviews created as part of Scott Herhold’s “Sense of Place” series.

Metro’s abbreviated Election Guide includes coverage of candidates seeking other major offices, and provides a list of Election Night party locations.

Citizen San Jose has posted video campaign commercials from each candidate.

KGO-ABC7 hosted a one-hour televised forum last week, which is also available online in its entirety (scroll down to the end of the KGO story for the links).

And, last – and perhaps also least – The Wave Magazine’s slightly surreal psychological test forum: “More Human Than Human”
