PA230002 Let the parade to the Willows Senior Center begin!

Late last month, the City of San Jose installed those new-fangled flashing pedestrian crossing lights to allow for safer street crossing on Lincoln Avenue in front of the Senior Center. The crosswalk has been on the corner of Lincoln & Lincoln for a long time, but has always been a harrowing experience. Now the flashing lights might help.

WGx hasn’t seen anyone use the lights yet. But since the Senior Center hosts one of the WG polling stations for Tuesday’s election, perhaps the lights will get a bit of use. (Find your polling place!)

Leave a comment if you see someone availing themselves of this new safety feature.
