Decisions … Decisions … Decisions …
It’s Girl Scout Cookie season in Willow Glen! Local troops began selling boxes door-to-door last weekend. You can expect these personal sales calls to continue through the month, before table sales start at your local grocery stores on February 23.
But, it’s also the annual “Cookie Dough Fundraiser” for Booksin Elementary School’s technology programs. These funds help the school keep up to date with computer software/hardware equipment, and various other school needs, such as overhead projectors used daily by the staff. Orders are due January 25.
What is a hungry neighbor to do? They both freeze well, so maybe you should buy both! … Either way, if you want tomsone to contact you about purchasing either type of cookie, leave a comment below, and WGx will make sure you get your sales visit.
P.S: If you’re not hungry, but want to make a donation anyway, both cookie selling programs accept your generosity. The Girl Scouts will send your donated cookies to Second Harvest, and Booksin will also accept cash donations toward their technology programs. Contact WGx for more information.
One Response for "Cookies or Cookie Dough …?"
By the way, Booksin Cookie Dough orders are due Thursday. Don’t miss out.
In other cookie news … The SJ Mercury’s L.A. Chung presents her opinion on Girl Scout Cookie sales in today’s edition, and WGx whole-heartedly agrees!:
