In other cookie news ... The SJ Mercury's L.A. Chung presents &lt;a href="http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/news/columnists/16532676.htm" rel="nofollow"&gt;her opinion on Girl Scout Cookie sales&lt;/a&gt; in today's edition, and WGx whole-heartedly agrees!:

Just what do girls get out of cookie sales, besides cute little pewter incentive bunnies, I'd like to know?

Helps build confidence

``We're trying to build courage, confidence and character,'' said Bernie Hoye of the Santa Clara County Girl Scout Council. ``We're building economic and business literacy.''

Hoye, spokeswoman and fund developer for the council, is nothing if not on message, but when all goes as it should, she's absolutely right.&lt;/blockquote&gt;
