This weekend, you can take your old technology and turn it into a science project for Fifth Grade students at Hammer / Galarza Elementary School. Sort of.

On Saturday, January 27, the school will host an electronic waste fundraising event to raise money for Fifth Grade science camp scholarships and overall camp cost reduction. This is a recycling program, and you can drop off old electronic items you no longer need or want. The schools will receive money based on what is turned in.

Here is a partial list of items you can donate:

Televisions - Monitors - Computers - Microwaves - Printers - DVD Players - Speakers - Telephones - Fax Machines - VCR Players - Mice/Keyboards

January 27, 2007: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
