Go Sharks!

Willow Glen loves the Sharks, right? Look around. This time of year, the banners come out of storage and businesses start posting their hockey memorabilia.

The team already plays a large role in our community schools, sponsoring the “reading is Cool” program and supplying “Sharks in the Parks” street hockey equipment. A few players actually live in WG, and WGx is certain more than a few commute through WG on their way to San Jose Arena. The Sharks were also sponsors of the Eighth Grade Leadership Award recently presented to Gabrielle Iseman from WGMS.

Today through the remainder of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, WGx celebrates the NHL’s San Jose Sharks along with the rest of the neighborhood! Send in your pictures of “Sharks Territory” signs and teal flags waving through Willow Glen, and WGx will post them here on each game day.
