This weekend marks the latest super-huge neighborhood celebration hosted by St. Chris … the massively fun and entertaining Annual Festival. This is the 49th version of the big party, and the entire WG community is invited!

Sunday, June 10 … 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Discount Ride (ticket books and wristbands) and BBQ tickets are available in the Parish Office through June 7 during regular office hours.

This year’s Festival once again includes the 5th Annual Rummage Sale on Saturday & Sunday, June 9 & 10. If you need to be the first in line, the gym doors open at 7 am on Saturday.

In addition to our food booths hosted at the Festival, there are several other food specials planned for limited times:

Tri-Tip BBQ is on Saturday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm
Sunday Breakfast is available from 8:30 to 11:00 am
The Chicken & Ribs BBQ is also on Sunday, 12:30 - 3:00 pm

Thousands expected to attend 49th Annual Festival at St. Christopher’s Parish

SAN JOSE - St. Christopher’s Parish will be hosting its 49th Annual Festival June 8, 9, and 10th, 2007, one of its largest community gatherings in Willow Glen. The Festival is a celebration for all ages offering a variety of food, fun and entertainment put on by over 500 dedicated volunteers. Butler Amusement provides carnival games and rides. Volunteers provide family-focused activities with games, arts, & crafts, and prizes especially for the children attending. All patrons can enjoy the Silent Auction & Rummage Sale. The Rummage Sale introduced in 2003, is one of the largest attractions for St. Christopher’s Parish as community members enjoy searching for a valued treasure among thousands of items.

The Hitmen are back by popular demand to kick off Friday evening’s festivities, and St. Christopher’s very own B.P. Band will take the stage Saturday night to perform. A raffle drawing is planned for Saturday night at 9:00pm. The First prize is $5,000 cash, second prize is Nintendo Wii, and the third prize is an Apple Nano Ipod. Raffle tickets are $1.00 donation per ticket for 12 tickets for $10.00.

The festivities continue on Sunday with additional food and beverage booths from which to choose from as well as a morning breakfast and ending with a chicken & rib BBQ lunch by purchasing discount advance tickets. Festival visitors can take advantage of additional savings by purchasing advance tickets for rides and the BBQ luncheon by purchasing advance tickets through the discount ticket program Advance ticket sales will be held on Sat. June 2nd from 5:00pm-6:00pm or Sun., June 3rd from 8:30am-12noon at St. Christopher’s Parish.
