Were you wondering if this year's unseasonably-early rains have had an impact on Willow Glen's new library? The answer is no, according to this week's WG Resident ... WGx.

Recent rains haven't bogged down the progress at the Willow Glen Library construction site.

"We're still ahead of schedule," said James Sample, the job superintendent for the new facility. "How much ahead is hard to say."

The project is tentatively scheduled for completion in May, but Sample said that it would probably be finished earlier. The project is on target with its $9 million budget, Sample said.
