The WG Resident reported in its June 29 edition that the construction of the Willow Glen Branch of the San Jose Public Library is ahead of schedule, and within budget:
Willow Glen library on schedule, could reopen earlier than planned
Good news for residents who are anxiously waiting the reopening of the Willow Glen library: Construction is ahead of schedule.
According to Emily Sample, field assistant with Ralph Larsen & Son General Contractors, the library branch should reopen in March, four months ahead of the original date. More than 25 percent of the construction is complete.
“Everything is running smoothly,” said Rich Desmond, San Jose Library Department deputy director for bond projects.
The paper also published a picture of the building project, with a fully-framed new library sprouting from its old location … but it’s only available in the actual paper. For an online picture, checkout the WGx version taken two weeks earlier.
