Suspect Arrested in Kidnapping

The San Jose Mercury News is reporting online that an arrest has been made in this week’s kidnapping:
San Jose police arrested a man Wednesday night on suspicion of kidnapping and attempted sexual assault of a 12-year-old San Jose girl who fled from her attacker, according to Sgt. Nick Muyo.
According to sources, Wednesday night a patrol officer broke open the case by finding a stolen car police believe is connected to the incident and the suspect, leading to his arrest.
Police are expected to release more information later today.
As originally reported on WillowGlenExtra, the Mercury has also published an online interview with Ray Villarreal, the kidnapped girl’s PAL Soccer coach.
