Ryan Kuder has updated Willow Glen 2.0 with a list of news and discussion resources pertaining to the fires in San Diego. Coming from someone with family down south, it’s much better than any other list WGx has found:
There are some reasons I really love San Diego. Here’s an account of the conditions at Qualcomm, where over 10,000 people have been evacuated to. No looting, no rioting, just chicken with capers in cream sauce. Stay classy, San Diego.
Both my folks and my brother are evacuated and the Witch Fire in north county appears to still be moving west towards the coast. It’s at 145,000 acres and 0% containment. Between the Witch, Harris and all the other fires, there are around 1000 homes destroyed so far. Hardest hit appears to be Rancho Bernardo.
Best sources I’ve found so far for keeping track of the news…
Willow Glen 2.0 has been fairly quiet recently (notwithstanding a little rant about the recent child abduction), so the latest update from Ryan is appreciated for more than one reason …
