Here’s a New Year’s resolution suggestion from WGx: Help Save a Life - Donate Blood!

The Red Cross of Santa Clara Valley will be at the Booksin School Cafeteria on Friday, January 11, 2008. Appointments are available between 1:30 and 5:45 pm, and babysitting is even available for school-age children upon request.

This isn’t the first local Blood Drive promoted by WGx, and the process of finding the drive online and making an appointment has sometimes seemed cumbersome (there is no obvious direct link to this drive on the Be A Donor website). To schedule a blood donation appointment log onto the Northern California collaborative blood donation site: Be A Donor. You can search by Zip Code or enter “Book” as the Sponsor Code, or try the WGx-jerry-rigged link to the Booksin drive (requires login first).
