Willows SeniorNet guru John McCulloch has been asking his friends and neighbors one of those common New Year’s resolution questions: “Is one of your New Year’s resolutions to become more more proficient with your computer?

SeniorNet can help.

Class registration is this Saturday, Jan. 5 at the Willows Senior Center, 2175 Lincoln Ave. (at Curtner Ave.) The time is 9 am for intermediate classes and 10:30 am for Introductory Classes

Classes to be offered include Word I, Digital Images (3 classes), Fun with Google, Windows XP, Computer Maintenance, E-mail, Family History Searching, Best of the Internet, Google Maps & Earth, Introduction to Computers and Basic Computer Skills.

SeniorNet is a nonprofit organization with 240 learning centers whose mission is to provide the computer education and access to people over 50 years of age. There is a $40 annual fee to join. Courses are $20 each, and most courses are 2 hours per week, and run for 8 weeks.
