		<description>Upon investigation, it appears that this was a tree that split apart during the storms in January.  We have now directed our DOT Tree Crew to remove the
remainder of the trunk down to the City's standard 18" height.  We are issuing a permit to the property owner to remove the stump and replant with the designated tree within 60 days, which in this case will be an Aristocrat Flowering Pear.  If you would like to volunteer for an upcoming tree planting, as was done 2 weeks ago at Wilcox Park in Willow Glen go to www.ourcityforest.org</description>
