The WG Resident agreed that Domus' opening was pretty quiet, even calling it "silent" ...

After nearly a year, there's activity again at the entrance to the downtown at the corner of Lincoln and Minnesota avenues at the former Sylvan Learning Center.

The site has been a musical chair of sorts, with businesses moving in and out in a blink of an eye.

The latest addition is the much-anticipated opening of local housewares store, Domus. Willow Glen is the store's third location.

"We are thrilled," says Domus owner Margaret Smith. "I have been very impressed with Willow Glen and the business opportunities there for quite a few years, but had never found a location on Lincoln Avenue that was appropriate for us."

The store silently opened its doors March 8 and has been abuzz since.

Domus apparently followed the lead of other low-high profile openings along Lincoln Avenue, and the results have been positive so far.
