This third weekend in May brings lots completely separate events that are kind of related … in an artsy not really kind of way.
Start with the 5th Annual “Art Off Lincoln” exhibit, hosted at Black Leopard Clayware, Saturday & Sunday, May 17 & 18:

Come meet the 7 artists and see their latest work in sculpture, tile, pottery, and paper arts. Watch some demos, tour a working clay studio and ‘leaf’ your signature on BLC’s Affinity Tree! Everyone is invited to enter BLC’s Pottery Lottery for a chance to win some great prizes, too. Beverages and light snacks served each day. Site is easy to reach, and ample parking is available. Art Off The Ave. is handicapped-friendly; children and pets (supervised by adults, of course) are welcome!
And not too far away from BLC — actually on Lincoln at Franquette — A Work of Heart is hosting s unique Garage Sale of its arts supplies, on sale through the end of the day on May 18.
There is also a Multi-family Block Sale on Saturday at Merle Ave. and Patricia Way, inside the Palm Haven area. And the Silicon Valley Open Artists Studio continues this weekend, with many open studios in our area. Or you could join the search party for Bella, buy some hardware at the Ace Grand Opening, or …
