Worldwide news channel CNN had its cameras in WG a few weeks ago, taping the story of Ryan Kuder, whose layoff from Yahoo a few months ago went “viral” as he micro-blogged his day via the Twitter website.

Thousands read along as a laid-off worker blogs about his getting laid off. CNN’s Ted Rowlands reports it pays off.
You can follow Ryan several ways these days, by literally following him on Twitter, by keeping tabs on his new weblog, or by signing on to the Willow Glen 2.0 service.
But hurry … it’s quite possible that he’s joining another, newer online social network while you are reading this article. ![]()

Thanks for the post, David. It’s all very humbling to get so much attention just for getting laid off. We had a good time filming at Monsieur Beans last week and CNN picked up the tab for the lattes
