Well, their attempt to be the first expansion team to make the MLS playoffs is in danger, but that won’t stop the San Jose Earthquakes from raising money for a good cause.
Soccer Silicon Valley Community Fund Dinner:
Friday, October 24, 2008, Soccer Silicon Valley invites you to attend this formal dinner along with Quakes supporters, players and key figures of the local community. The event is a fundraiser for the Soccer Silicon Valley Community Fund, which purchases tickets to games for underprivileged children.
The fundraising dinner is at WG’s Starlight Banquet Hall (aka the Assyrian Church at 680 Minnesota Avenue). Individual dinner tickets are $100 and table sponsorships are $1,000.
