This site is designed to provide a forum for communication, celebration, debate, discussion and positive change. Portions of this website may include commercial advertisements or other solicitation. All views expressed on this site are solely the opinion of the individual writer.

Although it is hosted and written by citizens and professionals who maintain a high standard of ethical behavior, this website is not intended for children under age 16, and their posts, comments, and additions will be deleted, unless express written approval is provided by a parent or guardian.

Creative Commons License: Essays, articles, posts, iages, and pictures published on WGx are made public under the Creative Commons license for non-commercial use. Complete articles and small quotations may be redistributed within the original context and in the spirit of the author’s original intent. Any such distribution must include appropriate attribution and a URL directing readers to Willow Glen Extra.

Candid pictures on WGx are taken randomly around the community and reproduced without substantial modification. Readers may submit pictures for publication if they are the original photographer and have permission from anyone pictured in the photo. If you have an objection to any image reproduced here, please contact us immediately.

To express an opinion (add a comment), commentors are required to provide a valid email address, and must create their own unique screen name. Personal contact information and email addresses are not displayed, unless you enter them in the main body of a wiki post or comment. Required personal information will never be shared with anyone. Screen names must be appropriate and may not claim or misappropriate the identity of another person. Only the real people, authorized agents or owners behind a known entity in our community may use a screen name similar to that entity’s real name. … and WGx frequently uses an ellipse when providing post updates/comments, and we strongly discourage others from including one in their screen name ;-).

Currently this is not a moderated forum. In an unmoderated forum, comments are not reviewed before they are posted. We screen all content and comments, but there may be a time lag in correcting inappropriate content. All “comment spam” and any comments unrelated to the attached post will be deleted. Comments submitted without valid email addresses may also be delated.

Comments may be edited or deleted if they contain factual inaccuracies, defamatory words, adult content, or other offensive material. We will edit comments that incorporate the full text of articles from other sources. For articles, provide a maximum of 3-4 sentences and a URL.

Wiki posts may be added anonymously by any member of the community, but are subject to deletion and editing for accuracy, relevance, and appropriate language.

We do not condone racist, sexist or sexually explicit comments or comments that constitute a slur against any person or group.
